Niels Mailand at University of Copenhagen
The Mailand group combines system-wide screening approaches and targeted cell/molecular biology- and biochemistry-based methodologies to mechanistically understand how signaling via ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modifiers orchestrate cellular responses to DNA damage and other stresses in mammalian cells.
The project aims to develop and apply novel screening methodologies to identify substrates of E3 ubiquitin ligases involved in genome stability maintenance and delineate underlying specificity determinants and cellular functions.
